On the afternoon of March 6, the Nanshan Maritime Safety Administration and Shekou Customs carried out a surprise unpacking inspection of dangerous goods in ship-borne containers. At the container terminal of Qianhai Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen, a container cargo was found to be suspicious, and it immediately reported the situation to Nanshan Maritime Safety Administration through the information communication mechanism.

The law enforcement officers responded quickly and arrived at the terminal inspection site within 15 minutes, and opened the container for inspection with the customs. After verification, the consignor of the container cargo was suspected of concealing the dangerous goods of categories 2 and 8 as ordinary cargo transportation.
