Today, in Chenghai District, more and more toy companies, like Weili Intelligent and Aofei Entertainment, have embarked on the development path of brand first and winning by quality. The awareness of patents has been greatly enhanced, and the road to sea is getting wider and wider. In 2022, Chenghai District will have 51 certified high-tech enterprises, 18 provincial-level specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprises, 6 provincial-level enterprise technology centers, and 19 provincial-level engineering technology centers. In 2021, toy companies in the region will obtain 77,000 patent authorizations, a total of 63,000 valid registered trademarks, and 1,912 3C certifications. In addition, there are about 17,000 trade-oriented service units that provide services for Chenghai Toys to sell to the world. Guanhua Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd. has been a major general trade exporter in Shantou City in the past two years. In 2022, the general trade export volume of toys will be nearly 36 million US dollars, accounting for more than half of the company's annual general trade export volume.

In 2022, Shantou will export toys of 14.23 billion yuan, an increase of 32.8%, accounting for 22.4% of the city's total exports. From January to February 2023, Shantou exported 2.04 billion yuan of toys, an increase of 42.7%, accounting for 19.8% of the city's total exports. Facing the fierce competition environment in the international market, Chenghai toy companies will continue to strengthen their "internal strength", take the road of deepening and intelligentization, promote the high-quality development of the industry, and continue to seize the international market share.
