FCL

• Refers to a full container (full load), that is, FCL transportation. FCL is the opposite of LCL, and sometimes refers to FCL orders. The consignor is responsible for packing, counting, stowage and sealing of the goods. The devanning of the entire box is generally handled by the consignee. But the carrier can also entrust the carrier to unpack at the freight station. But the carrier is not responsible for the damage and discrepancy of the goods in the box.
